Eurotec S.r.l. (hereinafter also “Eurotec”), with registered office in Via Fiume Po n°192, 24040 Stezzano (Bg), as Data Controller, recognizes the importance of maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of data personal data and, pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter “GPDR”), informs that the personal data communicated through the website www.eurotecsrl.it, will be treated in compliance with current European legislation on privacy.
1. Type and source of data
Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data (called log files) whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the Site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s IT environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check its correct functioning.
Cookies
To ensure the functioning of the Site and improve the service offered, cookies are used on the Site. Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by the user send to his terminal (usually the browser), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites on the next visit by the same user. Personal data provided voluntarily by the interested party
Eurotec collects and processes personal data directly and knowingly provided by the user through the Site when completing the form in the “Contact Us” and “Subscribe to the newsletter” sections. These data are name, telephone and email address.
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the address indicated on the Site involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the sent message.
2. Purpose of Data Processing and Legal Basis
Personal data will be used to respond to and satisfy every user request and therefore to manage the pre-contractual relationship with Eurotec (e.g. request for information, preparation of estimates) as well as, subject to explicit consent, to subscribe the user to the newsletter of commercial information.
For the purposes described above, the legal basis that legitimizes the processing lies in the need to have personal data available for the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the interested party (pursuant to Article 6 letter b) GDPR), and in the consent, for the sending of communications of a commercial nature by email (pursuant to Article 6 letter a) of the GDPR). We inform you that the consent expressed can be freely revoked by the user at any time, by writing to the Data Controller at the email address info@eurotecsrl.it.
3. Processing methods
Personal data will be processed using suitable electronic tools or manual paper processing, with logic strictly related to the purposes for which the personal data were collected and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data.
4. Nature of the contribution
Apart from that specified for navigation data, the provision of personal data is optional, however we inform you that any failure to assign it will make it impossible for the Data Controller to proceed with the activities described. Therefore, if you wish to receive information on Eurotec’s services and products, make a contact request, or subscribe to the commercial information newsletter, you must fill in the fields indicated in the relevant personal data collection form.
5. Communication and dissemination of data
Personal data, to the extent necessary and/or instrumental for the execution of the purposes indicated above, may be processed on behalf of Eurotec by persons authorized to process the data within the scope of the assigned work duties, and possibly by external persons appointed to perform services of various nature, such as, by way of example, the maintenance and assistance of the Site and the related Services, the forwarding of newsletters by email. The latter are appointed by the Data Controller as External Managers.
Personal data will not be transferred OUTSIDE the EU and will in no case be disclosed to indeterminate subjects.
6. Duration of treatment
For the purposes described above (execution of pre-contractual measures at the request of the interested party), personal data will be kept for the time necessary for re-contact to receive information and/or estimates. For the purpose of forwarding communications with commercial content via e-mail (subscription to the newsletter), the data will be kept for a maximum of 24 months.
At the end of the envisaged retention period, Eurotec will delete the personal data used for the activities described.
8. Rights of the interested party
We remind you that at any time the user can exercise the rights provided for in articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR and, in particular, request information on the existence and characteristics of the processing of personal data, the rectification, cancellation of the same or the limitation of the treatment, oppose the treatment and/or request the transmission of the same to another owner.
To exercise your rights, as well as to receive any information relating to them and/or this Information, you can contact the Data Controller by writing to Eurotec at the e-mail address info@eurotecsrl.it. In this matter, it is also possible to make a complaint to the Guarantor Authority, pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR.
